The SOL mercury website is published by SOL mercury LLC. located at 6-4-4 Hakusan, Toride, Ibaraki 302-0023, Japan.

 

Any order requires the purchaser to consult and expressly accept the general terms and conditions outlined below.

I. Products

Products listed on the site are subject to availability.

 If the item(s) offered are out of stock, the customer will be notified by email as soon as possible. If the item is not in stock, the purchase will be cancelled and refunded immediately.

If the product you receive differs from the description on the site, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the product.

 

II. Ordering

Any order confirmation will be subject to full acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale without reservation.

Order validation takes place in five sequential steps.

- Product Selection,

 - Enter your billing and shipping addresses,

 - Select shipping method,

 - Payment,

 - Confirmation of order.

The customer can review and change all details of the order before validating the order. Once the order is complete, the customer will receive an automatic confirmation email confirming the order.

III. Pricing and Payment

Prices shown on product pages do not include tax. They do not include shipping or customs fees. Shipping charges will be clearly displayed during the purchase process and prior to payment. Certain banks or credit card companies may charge specific international transaction fees.

The current price considered will be the price displayed at the time of order validation.

Payments at SOL mercury can be made by credit card (Shopify Payments), Paypal, etc.

 All transactions are secure and encrypted. Your credit card data is not stored by SOL mercury. Shopify Payment or PayPal may charge taxes and duties in the country of delivery for orders placed with SOL mercury. These additional costs associated with the delivery of our products are your responsibility and are your sole liability.

Discount codes provided by SOL mercury are only valid if they can be applied prior to payment at the time of purchase.

IV. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are processed and shipped within 4 business days after payment is received. (Orders placed on weekends or holidays may take longer.) Once the carrier receives your package, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

The shipping method is selected by the customer at the time of purchase from the following options

- EMS: 2-14 business days.

 - Standard (Japan Post): 9-20 business days (delivery time not guaranteed).

Attention. Business days do not include weekends and holidays.

2. price and delivery time

Shipping fees vary depending on the receiving country, weight of the package, and shipping method.

The price selection is made by the customer at the time of the order, after entering the shipping address when confirming the basket.

The price specified at the time of order is valid for online purchases at SOL mercury, but does not apply to exceptional deliveries (specialized orders, bulk orders, or package returns).

Additional Shipping Charges: Certain areas are considered isolated by the shipping carrier and may incur additional shipping charges after the order is confirmed. In this case, the customer has the option to pay these charges or cancel the order and receive a refund.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS: If you need to change your address and your package has not yet been shipped, please send an email to info@sol-mercury.com. We will make the change. If your package has already been shipped

 and you need to change your address, please contact the shipping company responsible for your package. This action may incur a fee and is your responsibility.

3. calculation of VAT on shipments to the European Union

VAT inclusive purchases: For all purchases below 150 EUR (after reduction, excluding shipping and VAT), VAT will be calculated at the time of basket validation. The courier will not charge the customer at the time of delivery.

Easier Importing: Taxes and customs fees are already paid at the time of purchase, so your package will clear customs faster.

Purchases up to 150 EUR excluding shipping costs: Shipping costs are calculated separately and are not included in the 150 EUR limit. These will be calculated at the time of basket validation.

Do not pay the invoice if the carrier charges you upon arrival. Please send a copy of your invoice to email . We will resolve the issue.

4.  From package pickup

Customers are responsible for tracking their packages online in order to know their geographic location. Tracking is done using a tracking number that is notified via email.

Shipping by mail (economical, airmail) : If you do not receive your package within 30 days of shipment, please contact us. You must first check with the post office to see if your package is not waiting for you, as mail carriers do not always leave delivery notices.

 After 45 business days, we may submit a claim for a lost package and send you a replacement.

SOL mercury is not responsible for returning packages to Japan if the customer fails to contact the carrier by the delivery time.

In the event of a return, shipping charges will be required again. Applicable shipping charges are actual shipping charges and not the shipping charges quoted by SOL mercury at the time of purchase.

 

 

V. Return and Cancellation Policy
If you are not satisfied, you may file a complaint within 7 days of receipt and receive a refund, exchange. To request a return of an order, send an email to info@sol-mercury.com . This email must include the reason for the return and the order number. Shipping charges will not be refunded and the customer is responsible for return costs. Products being returned must be in new condition in the original packaging.
If the package is damaged, please contact Customer Service directly at info@sol-mercury.com and send a photo of the defective product along with your order number.
If your package has not yet shipped, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund. Please contact us immediately.
 If you refuse to pay taxes or customs fees, or if your package is returned after the storage period has expired, we will refund the amount of your order. Shipping charges are not refundable.
 If delivery is refused or delivery is not possible after several attempts, the package will be destroyed by the shipping company. In this case, your order will not be refunded.

VI. Refunds
Refunds from SOL mercury will be made within 2 days of receipt of the goods in the case of returns. This will be done using the same payment method used at the time of the order .

VII. Applicable Laws
Although we are governed by Japanese law, we endeavor to respect the wishes of all our customers. In the event of a problem or complaint, customers may contact us to find an amicable solution.

VIII. Intellectual Property

www.solmercury.com  images and illustrations are the property of SOL mercury. Reproduction of the site www.solmercury.com in whole or in part is strictly prohibited.

IX. Privacy

SOL mercury respects the privacy of each visitor to our site as well as our customers. We collect and use information on our site within the framework of the rules defined below.

SOL mercury uses Shopify.com as its e-commerce platform and Paypal for payments.

 SOL mercury is not able to collect information about your credit card.

The information collected is used to prepare and ship your order as well as to provide you with a better experience when visiting our site, including product recommendations.

We do not sell or provide personally identifiable information about our customers to third party companies.

 Collection of data on VAT payments

We use a third party company, EAS Project (easproject.com), to report VAT collected in accordance with regulations in force in the European Union.

The data collected by this service at the time of purchase will only be used for the purpose of reporting the VAT collected to the relevant European authorities.

 

The information to be collected is as follows

* Transaction details (e.g., product or service purchased, amount paid),

* Customer information (billing and shipping addresses, VAT number if applicable, etc.).

This information is collected for the following purposes

* Calculate and report the VAT charged to the relevant European authorities.

Your personal data will be shared with the EAS project for VAT payment purposes only. It will not be sold, rented or disclosed to third party companies for commercial or other purposes.
